Meet Diane Haase

It all started when…

Diane Haase needed a way to help raise money for her son Matt to visit Australia in 2009. Diane and Matt holed up in the kitchen rolling truffle dough in a frenzy. At first, she started selling to friends and teachers at the schools she worked at, then, over the years, branched out into selling truffles at craft fairs around the greater Cincinnati area. In 2017, after eight years of experience, Diane decided to take the plunge and opened Truffle Me! as her official business, following the urging of friends and family, and reassured by the many repeat customers she has had.

Growing up in central Wisconsin with two sisters, and in a family with a strong German background, Diane knows how far a good piece of chocolate can go. Starting with only two flavors, Peanut Butter and Cookies & Creme, Diane quickly began to experiment with different flavors, eventually creating the menu she has today.

Starting with seven different standard flavors, as well as a variety of seasonal and unique flavors for events, Diane often experiments with new ideas. Now we have grown to having 13 standard year round flavors! Though not every taste makes the cut, Diane is always willing to give ideas a try, which inspired flavors such as “Butter Crunch” and “Peanut Butter Toffee.”
